Museum Pass Program

The Museum Pass program allows patrons free access to specific museums, gardens and zoos.

  • The pass is free to adults with a current Delaware County Library Card in good standing.
  • The pass will be loaned out for three (3) days with no renewals.
  • Only one pass may be checked out on a library card at a time.
  • Museum Passes must be returned to Newtown Public Library.
  • Museum passes may be returned in the outside book drop at Newtown Public Library.
  • Traditional holds are not permitted on Museum Passes. You may call ahead on the day you wish to pick up the pass and it will be held for you for two (2) hours or until closing, whichever occurs first. If you do not pick up the pass within that time, it will be made available to the next person who requests it.
  • The lost or stolen membership card replacement fee varies depending on the museum.
  • Hours are subject to change for each destination, so check their website for up-to-date information before visiting.
  • To see a calendar of museum events, please visit the specific museum’s website.
  • Most passes are sponsored by the Friends of Newtown Public Library (FOL) or the Library Foundation of Delaware County (LFDC).
